Missed Meals Are A Missed Opportunity

You’ve probably heard me say a million times that missing a meal will sabotage your progress but I’m here to remind you yet again and call you out on this. Every time you miss a meal you push yourself back a day because you’ve failed to put all the pieces together, which enable your body to recover. This doesn’t just hold you up; it starts to impact on your training because you’re now under fuelled.

Like your life depends on it, you need to eat every 3 hours to spark your muscle protein synthesis which is the driver behind recovery and anabolism. Fail to do this and you will perish at the hands of catabolism and weakness.

Dehydration Will Sink You

If you’re dehydrated you are already behind, I can never emphasize enough how important being hydrated really is. If dehydrated, you will experience and be vulnerable to the following:

1 Poor focus and mental engagement

2 Sluggish energy levels in the gym

3 Slow rate of recovery

4 Compromised ability to build muscle

5 Slow metabolism which impinges upon your fat burning goals

6 Weakness

You get the picture, dehydration single handily causes your transformation goals to wilt away.
